tbh it’s feeling really challenging to hold the cumulative crises unfolding around the world (14-month genocide of palestine, fires in los angeles in january, covid abandonment and incoming H5N1 abandonment, to name a few) rn without succumbing to the urge to numb it all out because it’s too painful to think about. if you too are trying desperately to stay in your body, to stay connected to reality, i see you.

i want to write something poetic + poignant about the lessons of saturn and the importance of diligent steadfastness in times of crisis, but i’m having trouble finding the words.

all i can say is that while urgency has its time and place, the most resilient movements and organizations are built slowly and steadily over time — in it for the long haul, moving at the speed of trust 🪐
